Halloween is coming to the Workhouse, and we’ve got plenty of spooky fun planned at Meadows Café this half term.
Spooky Halloween Treasure Hunt
From Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October, children can take part in our Spooky Halloween Treasure Hunt at Meadows Café.
Simply pop into the café and ask for your treasure hunt. Follow the clues, search for the spooky surprises and, once you’ve completed it, you’ll receive a special prize.
It’s a great activity for kids during the half term holidays and a fun way to add a little extra Halloween magic to your visit to the Workhouse.
Halloween Dinner – Saturday 24th October
Before half term begins, we’re getting into the Halloween spirit with a special Halloween-themed dinner on Saturday 24th October.
Our kitchen will be serving up a selection of scary-looking but delicious dishes, including Ghoulish Goulash, Eyeballs and Pasta, and Chocolate Brownie with Coffin Ice Cream.
The staff are getting involved too, with everyone planning to dress up for the occasion, while haunting music will help create the perfect spooky atmosphere.
And with the Workhouse already being a rather spooky setting, what better place to celebrate Halloween?

Whether you’re joining us for dinner or bringing the kids along for the treasure hunt, we can’t wait to celebrate Halloween with you.
