The Trust is delighted to be working with the eminent UK poet Fiona Sampson, MBE. Questions of humanity, of point of view, are at the heart of Sampson’s new collection, Come Down. In it, she traces her Australian father and his roots in that country, as well as the valley in Herefordshire where she lives and writes.
To celebrate the publication join Sampson at The Rodd for select readings and to hear more about the development of the work.
‘A very fine poet indeed . . . This perfect equilibrium of the numinous and the touchable is typical of Sampson’s achievement’ Guardian
