Pheasant shooting licence not renewed on university grounds

Shooting has been halted on Gregynog Hall grounds, the University of Wales’ residential conference centre.

The League Against Cruel Sports called the practice at Gregynog Hall, Newtown, Powys, “shocking” and launched a campaign against it last year.
